Become a volunteer for Fie Fencing World Championships Milano2023!

We are looking for Volunteers in Milan to help organise the Fencing World Championships that will take place at the Allianz MiCo from 22 to 30 July 2023.

Being a volunteer at Fie Fencing World Championships Milano2023 will be both a responsibility and a unique experience. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to personally participate in an international event.

The opportunities for volunteers who wish to support the activities of the Local Organising Committee will be many and designed with the ambition of making the most of the skills and interests of the individual candidates.

The two major areas are:

1. volunteers from technical areas and who therefore must have familiarity with the sport of fencing, basic knowledge of the regulations and the conduct of the competition; (more details by clicking the link below)
2. volunteers from all other areas who on the other hand may have different and more diverse knowledge but may also be unfamiliar with the sport of fencing; (more details by clicking the link below)

REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS:

• They must be of legal age (!!! technical area also accepts volunteers 16 years and older)
• They can be of any nationality
• Have a good knowledge of English and Italian
• It is preferable to have a good knowledge of at least one extra language, especially French, from at least one of the delegations present at the World Cup
• Willingness to participate in cognitive interviews and preparation courses (also remotely) in the days preceding the event
• Propensity for teamwork and dealing with the public
• Passion for the world of sport
