Italian Fencing Federation

The Italian Fencing Federation was founded in 1909 and, in 1913, was one of the nine founding fencing federations of the FIE (Federation Internationale d’Escrime).

Currently, the Italian Fencing Federation can boast 125 medals, collected in its 113-year history, surpassing any other sport practiced in Italy.

To date, the office of president is held by Paolo Azzi, a former athlete and longtime FIS executive.
